Join us for the April 1 Advocates meeting!

It’s that time again!  Please register to join us for our April 1st Advocate Training on Cultural Diversity. There will be a light breakfast starting at 8:30 am. The meeting will start at 9:00 and will last until approximately 12:00 pm. We will have a four member panel. Sungboon Baik from Asian Help Services will be with us. We will have a representative from the Latino Coalition against Domestic and Sexual Violence. And two members of the panel will be from Exodus Refugee Immigration, Zonun Thlaute and Nicole Kamana. They will each spend time discussing their culture and their organization. We will then have time for questions and discussion. Afterwards we will also have time to review and discuss the proof for the new Domestic Violence Network brochure.
This meeting will be held at the Department of Child Services located at 4150 North Keystone Avenue. The Building is secure so we will have someone out in the main lobby to escort you into the room. If you know you will be more than 15 minutes late please email and let me know. Just to help you find it there is a Mainscape Landscaping sign in their parking lot. Below is a link to a map. Please keep in mind the construction on the Fall Creek Bridge at Keystone Avenue.  This may delay you a bit.
