Adult Training Program

It takes everyone in our community to end domestic violence—from the courthouse to the schoolhouse, from corporations to clinicians. When we make a difference, it is together. Our Adult Training program focuses on training adults in all sectors on what domestic violence is, how to recognize warning signs, and how to respond as an individual or as a business. We have trainings tailored for different communities and on different subjects related to domestic violence. A DVN staff member will come to your place of business or social group at no cost to you, and administer a training and provide resources.

How Adult Training from DVN Works:

1. Visit our Training Menu for information on the various trainings we have available. We have trainings that cover everything from the basics to handling DV in the workplace to how to building healthy boundaries and understanding childhood trauma.
2. Fill out our Request Training form, and our Training Services Coordinator will connect with you as soon as possible.
3. We will work with you to schedule a time to go to your location to administer the training, free of charge.

We also have all kinds of different open events & training sessions (often with free food & other goodies) that focus on certain topics! We may be at a location, college, organization, or meeting space near you! GO HERE to see our current and upcoming events.
