Nominate an Outstanding Advocate!

The IMPD Baker One Team is now accepting nominations for the Outstanding Advocate Award for The Judge’s Luncheon on April 16th! This is your chance to recognize an advocate’s hard work, perseverance and positive attitude in helping victims and survivors of domestic violence heal and move toward a violence-free future!

You can find the nomination form here – in order to nominate an advocate (from any agency!) you simply complete the form and a brief statement showing how the nominee demonstrates one or more of the following outstanding behaviors:

1)      provided exemplary support to domestic violence victims

2)      has made efforts to reduce domestic violence

3)      works in collaboration with other social service agencies to ensure victim safety and offender accountability

4)      has used creative, outside of the box thinking to address domestic violence/victims/teens/abusers or other community members

You do NOT need to be an advocate yourself in order to nominate someone. All nominations will be reviewed by a multi-agency committee to select the winner to be presented at The Judge’s Luncheon.  Please submit your nomination to Kelly McBride (kmcbride@dvnconnect.org) by noon on Friday, April 4th.

Thank you for all that you do every day for victims, our community and each other!!
