This is Home: Naptown Wellness Series

Presented by the Youth Network and the No More Club at Crispus Attucks Middle and High School

We are excited to present our first installment in the Naptown Wellness Series on May 14, 2016 at Garfield Park Corporate Shelter, 2524 Conservatory Dr., Indianapolis.  We are collaborating with Adult and Child and Families First to bring a family focused, fun and educational event to our community.  The first session will be focused on Healthy and Active Consent Across all Ages. We know that the majority of young people do not talk to their caregivers about their relationships or the issues they are facing, so our goal is to help bridge that gap with resources, conversation starters and family friendly activities surrounding the theme of consent.

Along with several community organizations, the students from the Youth Network and No More Club will be present to answer questions and facilitate activities. This will be a great way to gain the perspective of teens who experience the topics that will be represented at the event.

The event will run from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and we will be there rain or shine.  In the case of inclement weather, we will post news of a cancellation to our Facebook and Twitter pages.  We hope to see you there!  If you have questions, please email Lindsay at lhill@dvnconnect.org
