POSITION TITLE:   Residential Services Manager            EMPLOYMENT STATUS:   Full-Time

REPORTS TO:   Chief Financial Officer                            FLSA STATUS:   Exempt

WORK SITE:   Residential Facility, Administrative Offices, and Outreach Sites

WAGE:   Commensurate with experience and skill level

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of a comprehensive residential program
  • Plan and implement program services for women, men, and families residing in a shelter
  • Supervise case management and advocacy services
  • Supervise shelter, transitional housing, and children’s program personnel
  • Provide direct services for women, men, and children residing in the shelter
  • Represent Alternatives Incorporated at community functions and events

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure the staffing of the residential facility
  • Prepare statistical and narrative reports
  • Maintain program documentation
  • Network and collaborate with program teams
  • Measure program outcomes
  • Maintain program databases
  • Present oral reports and communications
  • Maintain the confidentiality of clients
  • Train and assist staff and volunteers
  • Network with social service agencies and providers
  • Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings
  • Attend committee and Board of Trustee meetings
  • Conduct staff meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of family violence, homelessness, sexual assault and child abuse
  • Skills in computer operations
  • Skills in written communication
  • Skills in supervision and management
  • Skills in interpersonal communication
  • Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral or picture form
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
