Students Create Healthy Relationship Posters
Greetings Network! As the Youth Program Manager at the Domestic Violence Network, I travel to Central Indiana schools and teach students about healthy relationships and teen dating abuse. I absolutely LOVE my job! Spending time with Indiana youth is incredibly special, fun, and such an honor. Plus, I can be hip and trendy and WOW my coworkers, friends, and family with all the latest youth lingo.
During my last visit in Ms. Morgan Cooksey’s class at Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School, I pushed the students to get creative and make a poster with the theme of healthy relationships and/or dating abuse. I was not sure what to expect, but was looking forward to seeing the their masterpieces.
