Calling all Summer Camps!

Bring the Domestic Violence Network to your youth this summer

The Domestic Violence Network (DVN) offers evidence-based, healthy relationship and teen dating abuse education to youth in grades 9-12. Our youth program manager, Lindsay Hill Stawick, creates a fun, interactive, and open environment for students to learn about qualities of healthy and unhealthy relationships, dynamics of dating abuse, how to help a friend, and resources in the community.
In addition to the education piece, DVN has a teen dating violence simulation kit that allows teenagers to walk in the shoes of couples who have experienced different forms of dating abuse. The simulation is followed up with a debrief where students express their thoughts and feelings about the activity. It’s a great way to further the students’ understanding of healthy vs. unhealthy relationships. If you would like Lindsay to come to your summer camp, please email her at lhill@dvnconnect.org.  She will gladly adapt to the needs of your camp and youth!
