Youth Network Starting Again this Fall!
The pandemic brought so many things to a halt….
We all started working from home, going to school virtually and ordering groceries online. Now 3 years later, some things still have yet to return to pre-pandemic standards. DVN was not exempt from making changes in the pandemic.
But good news – though the pandemic brought our Youth Network to a hard stop, this fall, we are back!

What is Youth Network?
Youth Network is an after school group for students who wish to contribute to school and community improvement surrounding teen dating violence (TDV). The objective of the Youth Network is to provide a space for students and young people to learn about TDV and become advocates in their schools. Through the Youth Network, we will engage and empower students to be leaders in their communities, challenge societal norms, and lead the way for social change in their generation.

This fall, we will be welcoming a small group of students to join us for Youth Network at two local high schools. Students at Crispus Attucks and Shortridge High School are invited to apply for Youth Network. There are many opportunities that come along with joining the Youth Network.
Our hope in the future is to offer Youth Network at other local high schools so that we can all come together to make Indianapolis a safer, healthier community for all youth.
