The Domestic Violence Network Gives Thanks this Holiday Season

Here are 10 reasons why DVN is thankful!

  1. We are thankful for our community partners who collaborate with us on community training, projects, and special events.

  1. We are thankful for Central Indiana organizations and employers who believe in our mission and invite us to train their employees.

  1. We are thankful for direct service providers who work tirelessly to protect and support our community members who have experienced violence.

  1. We are thankful for Central Indiana schools who trust our Youth Program Coordinator with educating their students about healthy relationships and teen dating abuse.

  1.  We are thankful for our fantastic Advocates who are always looking to expand their skill set and professional networking to better serve their clients.

  1.  We are thankful for Indiana universities and colleges who partner with us to bring education and awareness to their students and campus.

  1. We are thankful for the first ever No More Club at Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet Middle and High School.  The students are phenomenal human beings who believe in the importance of serving others and their community.

  1.  We are thankful for people and organizations in our community who support us financially.  Without those funds, we would not be able to live out our mission of ending domestic violence in Central Indiana.  We appreciate every cent and dollar donated to us.

  1. We are thankful for law enforcement officers, prosecutors, military personnel and those in the judicial system who seek to expand their knowledge to better assist and protect victims/survivors in our community.

  1. Finally, we are thankful that all of the people and entities mentioned above are a part of a greater network who stand with us in the fight against domestic violence.  Every day we are proud of the work The Network does to create a culture where domestic violence is not tolerated and perpetrators of domestic violence are held accountable.  We appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for your continued support and dedication!
