SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTIONS The Research Analyst will collect and disseminate all community and program-level data related to domestic violence, sexual violence, and teen dating violence, including, but not limited to: law enforcement, relevant community partner, and education data. The Research Analyst is responsible for identifying and evaluating trends within the community and DVN programming efforts, as well as producing reports to educate community members and community partners to direct resources and share the impact DVN is making. Serves as the liaison with The Polis Center for the State of Domestic Violence in the Criminal Justice System projects. Plans, creates, and implements evaluation methods for relevant DVN programs and grants.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS • Collect, analyze, report, and disseminate data to the community • Identify and evaluate data trends around relevant indicators • Produce relevant data and research reports and infographics on a timely basis • Serve as the DVN Liaison for The Polis Center for the Domestic Violence in the Criminal Justice System Reports and Domestic Violence Data Dashboard • Develop, refine, collect and disseminate DVN program level data to evaluate and monitor success • Research, modify, and evaluate curriculum for DVN programs, with special emphasis on THE CHANGE PROJECT healthy relationships curriculum for high school students Note: The essential functions of this job may be revised or updated as facility needs dictate. EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with two years of relevant experience.

• Preferred experience in needs assessments, program planning, implementation and evaluation.

• Knowledge and experience in building strong professional and collaborative relationships.

• Knowledge and experience in data collection, management, manipulation, analysis, and effective dissemination Research Analyst

• Working knowledge of non-profits preferred. • Experience preparing evaluation and project progress reports. • Ability to assess information and determine appropriate course of action or next steps.

• Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual violence, and teen dating violence issues is essential.

• Demonstrated ability conveying complex concepts, research, and data through reports, infographics, presentations, and/or fact sheets to diverse audiences • Public speaking and strong oral and written communication skills.

• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Experience in Microsoft Office programs with expertise in Excel specifically.

• Resourcefulness in solving problems. • Strong customer service skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Staying informed of trends and community planning in domestic violence, sexual violence, and teen dating violence.

• Knowledge of strategic planning, program evaluation, and project management.
