April Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Indy has lots of ways for you to get involved!

Sexual Assault Awareness couldn’t come at a better time for Indiana. As the landscape of our sexual assault services is shifting, we still have one of the highest rates of sexual assault in the nation, particularly for young women.

Awareness, prevention, victim-centered programs, and the support of our community are just a few of the key components to end sexual assault. DVN is collaborating with Legacy House, Butler University, IUPUI, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, and student organizations to bring you a series of events throughout the month of April.

Keep an eye out for event announcements and watch for the hashtags #SAAMIndy #itsonusindy #itsonusIUPUI and #itsonusButler for more information.
