“In her shoes” simulation
Audience: adults. pairs with our dynamics of domestic violence training. the simulation and dynamics of Domestic Violence training can be facilitated in a 2 hour window.
This interactive experience walks participants through the story of someone experiencing domestic violence. Created by Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence, it helps training attendees to understand the difficult choices victims have to make, and witness the real life impact of violence on various communities.
“IN their shoes” simulation
Audience: Adults who work with youth, or youth themselves. can be paired with our teen dating violence and sexual assault training. Two two components can be facilitated in a 2 hour window.
This simulation, also created by WSCADV, tells the story of teens facing teen dating violence. Similar to the adult version, participants walk the story of a character and have to make choices the teen faces.
