Former Butler student, Hannah, who survived sexual assault and four years in a violent marriage, invites faculty, staff, and students to hear her story. After leaving the marriage, she vowed not to remain silent about her story—the story of so many other women. For the past two years, she has been outspoken in the community about the issues of sexual assault and domestic violence, giving a voice to those who haven’t yet found their own voice. Join us to hear Hannah’s story and talk with representatives from Butler’s Counseling and Consultation Services and Victim Advocate Program as well as representatives from local agencies providing free services to survivors and their loved ones. This program is sponsored by the Office of Health Education and Outreach Programs, Counseling and Consultation Services, and REACH.
