This webinar is the second part of a two-part webinar offering an overview of an approach for providing interdisciplinary trauma-informed support groups for women who are affected by substance abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of trauma and oppression. Part two describes specific topics and offers materials, making it easier for substance abuse counselors and advocates to provide trauma-informed support groups for women experiencing domestic violence, substance abuse coercion, and/or a substance use disorder. Group materials are both educational and practical and can be provided in multiple treatment settings as well as in advocacy programs. The group handout materials can also be used in 1-1 counseling sessions as well as in informational lecture series.
