Kristen P. Pulice, LCSW

As Director of Primary Prevention and Education at the Indiana Coalition Against Sexual Assault, she is responsible for oversight of the Rape Prevention Education grant and provides technical assistance to statewide grantees.   Kristen has conducted numerous trainings throughout the state on various topics including but not limited to, Primary Prevention, Root Causes of Sexual Violence, Sexual Assault, Sexual Coercion, Mental Health and Trauma.

MaryClare Akers

MaryClare joined the Women’s Bureau in April 2012 as the Clinical Director of the REACT Program. In addition to overseeing the REACT programming and services, oversees the Rape Crisis Hotline, and works to obtain funding for the REACT Program. She is also the primary counselor for the Rural Outreach Program, which serves REACT clients in Noble, Steuben, LaGrange, and DeKalb counties.Prior to her employment at the Women’s Bureau, Inc., MaryClare worked in the mental health and medical fields for 10 years.  Her experience includes working as a medical social worker in home health, geriatric psychiatry social worker and community liaison, and a residential care social services director. She is a member of The Mayors Commission and the Rape Task Force, the Domestic Violence Task Force, and the Dress for Success Advisory Board.MaryClare holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology from Purdue University and a Masters in Social Work, with a concentration in Leadership, from Indiana University.
