Our Community Training Series series will take you through five of the training sessions we offer and give you an opportunity to go through these as part of a group: Dynamics of Domestic Violence, Intimate Partner Violence in the LGBTQ+ Community, Teen Dating Violence, Adverse Childhood Experiences Study, & Trauma Informed Care and Healthy Boundaries.

In this free, virtual, & interactive course we will:

  • Teach you what domestic violence is, what it includes, and warning signs

  • Help you understand how domestic violence impacts some communities disproportionately

  • Inform you on what teen dating violence is and tools available to young people if they find themself in this situation

  • Explore the adverse childhood experiences study and understand what risk and protective factors are

  • Learn about trauma informed care, how it is practiced and how to implement some best practices

  • Give you tools to understand and practice setting healthy boundaries for healthy relationships and learn why this is important

  • Teach you important terminology along the way

  • Receive tips on how to help someone you know in a domestic violence situation get help

Folks who register and attend 4/5 sessions will receive a course certificate.
