Join the Indiana Department of Corrections, INCASA, and MRNISO at Indiana’s only statewide conference focused on sexual violence issues. Last year over 400 professionals were in attendance. Don’t miss out on 2014.
This year’s conference offers sessions addressing victim issues, offender treatment, medical and mental health promising practices, investigation and prosecution strategies and emerging trends in primary prevention.
Highlights include a keynote address by Tena Dellaca-Hedrick, human trafficking survivor. Tena, a victim’s advocate at Victory Noll will speak to her experiences and her life changing encounter with Alaska’s worst serial rapist and murder, Robert Hansen. Noted Forensic Nurse Examiner, Dr. Jenifer Markowitz will present multiple sessions on effective and ethical testimony and other Advanced SANE topics. Other presentations include: HIV prophylaxis medication options, human trafficking assessment, sex offender treatment, juvenile sex offender management, community violence prevention, and working with victims & offenders with disabilities.
